So when a highly awaited event comes around, all eyes eagerly wait to see what our favorite celebrities will wear on the red carpet. This year, the 7th HUM Awards took place in Houston, USA. It’s no surprise that our celebrities leave a powerful impact internationally with their phenomenal talent. But they also mesmerize the masses with their fashion A-game! Here are my top 10 picks from the star-studded event.
1. Mawra Hocane
Leave it to Mawra to stun us in whatever she dons, whether it’s a basic tee or a lehnga! Clad in an Omorose ensemble, Mawra made a declaration of love to Pakistan. From the bright green lehnga to the ‘chaand’ clutch, she made a big statement at the red carpet!
2. Asim Azhar
Globally renowned for his majestic voice, Asim made a subtle yet powerful statement with his politically charged attire! We have massive respect for Asim, who expressed his empathy for Kashmir in an avant-garde Jazib Qamar outfit.
3. Ayesha Omar
It’s impossible to talk about fashion and not mention Pakistan’s style queen, Ayesha Omar! The maestro, Nomi Ansari, dressed Ayesha in a vibrant coral gown that turned heads everywhere. The structured peplum-top and elaborate ruffled skirt made for quite the statement on the red carpet.
4. Sarah Khan
Sarah was an ethereal vision-in-white who took our breath away! Adorned with traditional hand embroidery zardozi work, her ravishing cream peshwas and Kimkhab shawl by Nilofer Shahid was a timeless ensemble. It’s always such a pleasure to see our celebrities unapologetically channel their desi pride!

Yet another vibrant ensemble by Nomi Ansari that mesmerized us all! Wrapped in a fuchsia pink, intricately designed net and sequence sari, Hania stole hearts with her attire. The simplicity of her outfit, sleek bun and statement jhumkas exuded retro vibes!
6. Ali Rehman Khan
A sherwani fit for a prince, worn by a prince! Ali’s traditional attire had a tale of its own to tell. The Mughal-inspired motifs added a touch of cultural richness and funk, paying a tribute to the aesthetics of South Asian art and history.
7. Zeba Bakhtiar
If there’s anything we can all agree on, it’s Zeba Bakhtiar’s timeless beauty! Elegant as always, Zeba glowed in her jacket-style peach gown, embedded with handicraft jewels. Doesn’t she look like a queen straight out of a fairytale!

Following in his mother’s footsteps, Azaan brought his style A-game to the red carpet. Sporting the tall, dark and handsome look, Azaan’s fusion ensemble of a traditional black kurta paired with a coat re-defined classy on whole different scale.

Reema is the epitome of ethereal beauty and grace and she stunned at the red carpet with her outfit! Her elegant white peshwas was accompanied with a gold clutch and statement earrings. It’s true that a graceful beauty like her doesn’t need much to kill the red carpet!

This pair never fails to fashionably stun us! Dressed to impress and proudly donned in ethnic wear, the Suno Chanda star shone in his beige sherwani and Urwa radiated elegance in an off-white peshwas. The two definitely won at being the ‘best dressed couple!’
