For a lot of us, worrying about ageing seems a long way off — something to head to the dermatologists office for when we reach our comfortable middle age, and then start to take care of. Like sneaky white hairs though, ageing sets in before we even know it. Experts say anti ageing precautions should start by 25 if we want to stave off the effects of loosened collagen, wrinkles, and dullness. That doesn’t leave us a lot of time! You might not be able to stop the process of ageing, but you can definitely delay the greedy hand of age for a few more years. Scroll down to find out the five habits you need to adopt!

1. Sleep Well

They don’t call it beauty sleep for nothing. Nothing is better for your body, brain, or skin, than a good nights rest. It can give your skin the same results as an expensive facial without actually costing you a thing. It’s simple, but true: beauty sleep is the key to staying young forever! Click here for tips to help you fall asleep faster.

2. Keep Stress At Bay

You can’t ever really get rid of stress entirely, but you can reduce it. Constantly worrying can affect your health, both mentally and physically. To stay active and fresh, keep your mind calm and brainstorm what might make you feel more at ease. Go to spas, take up a hobby, or do whatever makes you happy.

3. Go Easy With Makeup

You may think makeup is the only way to hide intrusive, unwanted signs of ageing, but it actually does the opposite. In fact, heavy makeup can make you look way older than your real age. We’re not telling you to swear off wear makeup completely, but switch to more minimal, soft looks that make you look younger, and more natural.

4. Take Care Of Your Hair

Apart from less supple skin, another sign of ageing that we usually ignore is dried out hair.  As we age, just like the rest of our body, our hair changes and becomes weaker as it loses moisture. It’s really important to nourish by using hair masks and serums, and to regularly use natural oils to keep it hydrated. Click here for some solid hair advice, courtesy you!
