The Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF), an annual retail carnival that transforms the city into a shopaholic’s paradise. Join me as I spill the tea on my recent shopping escapade, exploring four unique spots during this DSF season.
Venturing into the lesser-known Dubai Outlet Village was like stumbling upon a hidden treasure. It’s indoors, so weather woes are non-existent, and the scale is just right – no marathon walking required. DSF had sprinkled magic, and the deals were too good to resist. Armani seduced me with a jaw-dropping 70% off on shoes, and I couldn’t leave without snagging a pair of slick white sneakers. Ted Baker, Polo by Ralph Lauren, and Adidas also had great discounts and price cut downs. A morning visit meant I dodged the crowds and enjoyed a rare luxury – no lines at the fitting rooms!
Dubai Mall in all its glory had to be on my list. With holiday decorations, festive vibes and bustling energy, it instantly was a mood elevator. Calvin Klein Underwear had a tempting sale, prompting a stock-up on essentials. I spent most of my time in Sephora, checking out the new products and enticing holiday bundles. I chose not to buy anything at Sephora fearing the long checkout queue and going over budget. For me, a stroll at H&M Home is a must. They had a new collection of glassware, and I couldn’t resist but pick up a glass bottle for my bedside table while Pull and Bear’s tee sale offered a chance to revamp my casual all-black wardrobe effortlessly.
When fatigue set in and I had less time, the Mall of the Emirates provided the perfect retreat. It’s my mall of choice when I am not in the mood to walk too much. My first stop was Sephora, I had decided to indulge and stock up on essential skincare and sunscreens. Armed with a mall gift card, I got the Wishful Get Clean Cleanser and Inkeylist’s Retinol, enjoying extra discounts. Phenaligons was another favorite but considering my budget I settled with a Jo Malone perfume and got a small candle as a gift from the store!
Ending my shopping extravaganza at the Global Village was an unexpected delight. Each pavilion was a mini-world of its own. The South Korean Enclosure beckoned with its popular skincare, was a treat! You can easily find every TikTok Viral skin care product and knowledgeable salespersons to guide you through it! while Japan showcased beautiful colorful tea sets, which I contemplated buying but the scarce luggage space stopped me. India’s corner had stunning silver jewelry and accessories alongside traditional apparel. And let’s not forget the diverse global cuisines – a treat for the taste buds!
With DSF keeping the city alive until January 14th, there’s still time to dive into the madness. Sales, offers, and entertainment – there’s something for everyone. Whether you’re a fashion enthusiast or just love window shopping, DSF is your playground.
