“How do you know when you’re ready for marriage? I’ve been dating a guy for the past year and I’m sure I love him, but I don’t really know if he’s ‘the one.’ Is there any way to ever be truly sure?”
Mr X’s Response:
The truth is that you never really do get certainty that your partner is the one. At times, you may feel he/she is the one however at other times you may question them. As long as you’re certain that your partner will treat you with respect, care, and affection post-marriage, trust your relationship and take a leap of faith. It shall all be up-hill from there hopefully.
No marriage is perfect, even between those who think their partners are the one. It has its ups and downs however as long as your relationship is strong and you two care for each other, you’ll do wonders together.
