There the Byzantine and Ottoman palaces, churches, mosques, fountains, mausoleums and bazaars constantly surrounded him. He once dreamed of converting these influences of Istanbul’s past into magnificent jewellery creations; but today the master jeweller has achieved all that and more.
Sevan has been able to do something that no jeweller has been able to recreate. He creates jewellery pieces that are no less than the works of Michelangelo or Da Vinci. Whether painted with scenes of the Istanbul harbour or featuring oversized gemstones intaglio-carved with Ottoman-inspired architecture, each stunning rings are truly a work of art. Each piece of jewellery is made with the exceptional skills and artistry of painters, calligraphers, engravers, micro-mosaic masters, sculptors and gem setters, and his pieces never fail to leave wearers and onlookers in amazement.
The recipient of many distinguished awards, his clientele include celebrities such as Catherine Zeta Jones, Liv Tyler, Celine Dion, Tory Burch, Halle Berry and Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen.
