Eid means many things, but right on the top of the list is your Eid look! Often planned months in advance, and sometimes very last minute – every girl loves her annual shameless Eid photo in a gorgeous outfit. Our celebrities are no different! So we turned to our vast network of fashion girls to see what they wore for Eid this year. As expected, their looks didn’t disappoint. There was lots of embroidery (of course), just the right amount of sparkle, and each had an air of elegance. So as Eid-ul-Fitr 2019 comes to an end, we round up the best Eid looks we’ve spotted on our feed these last few days. Scroll down!
Iqra Aziz
Definitely one of our favorite looks this year! Iqra goes traditional in an Ali Xeeshan creation. We love the Patiala shalwar – please make a comeback!
Syra Shahroz (and Family)
If you ask us, Syra is always well turned out! While she kept it simple this Eid in a cool green Farah Talib Aziz ensemble, we love how she accessorizes with festive khussay to match her sister Palwasha’s. Special shoutout to her adorable daughter who pulls off a pink gharara better than anyone we can think of!
Ushna Shah
We’ve termed this style modern traditionalism, and we absolutely love it! Ushna pairs a powder blue cotton gharara with a modern collared shirt – and it goes together perfectly. We’ll be honest, we love a good gharara more than the next person and this one is cool, relaxed and comfortable.
Maryam Ishtiaq
This blogger from New York goes old-school in Maria B and we love it! It’s been a while since we’ve seen rust and sea green paired together so beautifully. Also, we love the effortless look of a peshwas-gown. It’s the perfect ensemble for Pakistanis living abroad who want to keep it fuss-free.
Saba Qamar
You can never really go wrong with gold and white in Eastern wear, and Saba Qamar proves just that this Eid! Doesn’t she look beautiful?
Sona Rafiq
Sona stuns in a subtle yet dramatic Menahel and Mehreen outfit. If you’re someone who likes to keep it simple on Eid, take note! Though this look is quite minimal, the effective frill running down the shirt is what makes this Eid look one for the books.
Ayesha Omar
We love Ayesha’s Sania Maskatiya kaftan, for many reasons of course, the top one being that it is just so wearable. Ladies, if you want to be smart about your Eid look, invest in an outfit that you’ll wear again on many occasions!
Muzi Sufi
We recently spoke about twinning with your daughter and how fun it could be! Muzi just joined our list of adorable influencers who nailed the look. Don’t they look adorable in their matching Ansab Jahangir outfits?
Saboor Aly
Saboor’s black Ansab Jahaingir outfit definitely is a keeper but what we love most about her look is her braided hair and ethinic earrings. It perfectly ties in everything together!
Hina Altaf
Fun fact: 20 minutes before we found this picture, we were thinking to ourselves, why doesn’t anyone wear sari’s on Eid? Thank you Hina for proving that a sari can make a graceful Eid look. You look lovely!
Yasmeen Hashmi
Would you believe this outfit is from high-street retailer Cross Stitch? We couldn’t either. We love the outfit, but Yasmeen styles it brilliantly with dramatic earrings and minimalistic mehndi. The Miaasa flats complement the outfit perfectly, and her pulled back hair keeps the look clean. 10/10 for this one!
Hareem Farooq
When in doubt, stick to white! Hareem looks beautiful in her simplistic Zainab Chottani outfit. If you think white is too basic, notice how her embellished net dupatta adds just the right amount of Eid glamour.
Maya Ali
When we think of Maya’s Eid look, we think of the quote: “go big or go home.” She looks lovely in her red Faiza Saqlain outfit, and if your Eid celebrations are as grand as hers we suggest you go just as festive! An outfit like this can easily be re-worn at a dholki or a wedding.
Nausheen Shah
The soft pastel colours in Nausheen’s Deepak Perwani ensemble are perfect for the warm summer season. We love that she chose to complete her outfit with a pair of embellished khussay!
Momina Sibtain
In Momina’s words, it’s too hot to wear anything besides lawn this Eid. And if you feel the same, take cue from her on how to dress up your lawn! This beautiful Elan number is elegant, festive and will keep you cool too!
Hania Aamir
Hania nails her Eid look in this ice blue number with traditional gota work. The embroidery comes to life against this cool hue. Take inspiration from her outfit for all the upcoming summer weddings you have to attend!
Bonus: Sonam Kapoor
Sonam’s mom-in-law gifted her this gorgeous Eid outfit by Gaurang Shah (and we know this because we’re huge stalkers on Instagram). And while we love the bright colours and exquisite fabric in the silhouette itself, what we loved even more is how Sonam styled it. She is a style icon for good reason after all. Those silver tulip earrings have just taken first place on our wish-list! Scroll for a closer look.
