If you’ve ever had an ingrown hair, you know how annoying it can be. Ingrown hairs occur when the hair follicles become clogged with dead skin cells. Shaving, waxing or plucking cause the new hair to curl inwards while growing, which ends up getting trapped underneath a layer of skin, which can further go on to become a painful cyst. This can be frustrating, especially after you’ve spent time and money to remove the hair, only to be covered by itchy bumps.
It’s something we all struggle with. Like always, we want to ask you — what’s the best way to prevent ingrown hairs? Should women even bother? Once you get them what are some remedies to get rid of them? Sound off in the comments below!
