Aarij Hashimi
The event planner for creative souls!
Aarij Hashimi is as close to a magician as you’ll get in Pakistan when it comes to event management – he’ll pull it off no matter the season. Best of all? His disappearing act. Just like that, you’ll have nothing to worry about.
We met with the super talented event manager who spoke to us about the latest wedding trends, his experimental ideas, and a stunning flower arrangement he made just for us.
Sara Chapra
Meet the event planner of every girl’s dream!
Sara Chapra is a true blue-blooded veteran in the event management industry. The IVS graduate is co-founder and CEO of Carbon Events, and all in all, a true visionary. She’s done everything from weddings to corporate events, to theme based gatherings. Her ultimate goal is making your big day extra special, and the best part about her work ethic is that she’s a perfectionist! You won’t find a hair out of place, or a stray piece of decor in sight – unless she intended it that way.
We took a trip to Interwood and Cocoon homes with her, where she showed us her picks and how we can work with them creatively. Because at the end of the day, it’s all about creativity, isn’t it?
Perspective Events
You won’t want to miss this market run!
Abdullah Usmani, the founder of Perspective Events, is an expert when it comes to event management. He defines hard work and hustle in an unmatched manner, ensuring he and his entire team are focused on customizing, tailoring, and perfecting your event for your satisfaction.
We took a trip to the teeming local bazaars of Karachi like Zainab market and Bolton market with Abdullah, who selected some super budget-friendly props, mirrors, and centrepieces of his choice. Although he prefers using fresh flowers, he found us colourful artificial ones which were available at these markets. Watch the video below to see his aesthetic eye roaming through the bazaars of Karachi!
Dawat
A planner to note!
Taha Memon is the ‘bright young thing’ when it comes to rising players in our event management industry. Strange thing to say for a guy who has been silently making big moves for the past 15 years! His company, Dawat, has become synonymous with taste and elegance.
“We’re known for doing long walkways, the arches, and the mega stages,” said Taha, when asked about his signature aesthetic.
