Know When You’re Bored And When You’re Hungry

People often eat out of boredom even when they’re not really hungry. This can only cover you in more layers of … well fat. Keep yourself busy by reading a book, playing a sport or taking up any other activity that will keep boredom at bay. A good rule of thumb to follow is to drink a glass of water whenever you get hunger pangs – sometimes our body just confuses thirst for hunger.

Chewing your food slowly will make you feel full faster and as a result, you would have eaten less food, which means fewer calories. Try it starting your next meal and see what a big difference it makes!

Take The Stairs

If working out seems too overwhelming for you, find other, creative ways of staying active. For instance, when you are out and about, take the stairs instead of the elevator. Or if your room is a little messy, clean it yourself. Keep moving as much as you can throughout the day – every step counts!
